    Muezzin (in lingua araba “Mu‘adhdhin”, مؤذن, e in turco “müezzin”) è, nella liturgia islamica, l’incaricato di salmodiare cinque volte al giorno (composto di notte e dì) dal minareto il richiamo che serve a ricordare l’obbligo di effettuare validamente la preghiera islamica della Salāt.
